Erin Bracken has helped manage a challenging range of consumer and reputation management campaigns for some of America’s most prominent brand names and corporations. She maintains strong relationships with both consumer and mainstream media outlets, securing coveted placements in outlets such as CNBC’s Squawk Box, MSNBC’s Jansing & Co., Fox Business News‘ Varney & Co. and The Willis Report, CNN’s Your Bottom Line,Woman’s Day, GQ: Gentleman’s Quarterly, The Washington Post, and Associated Press, among others. She also has a specialty in developing grassroots media strategies that generate local print, broadcast and online coverage, which can be effectively repurposed through paid content discovery platforms.
Erin began her career at Edelman’s Washington D.C. office, where she worked with clients including General Electric (GE), United Way of America and PriceWaterhouse Coopers’ Washington Federal Practice. As part of her responsibilities to GE, Erin spent four months working at the company’s headquarters supervising the creation of a sustainability report and anniversary event for GE’s groundbreaking ecomagination initiative.
Before joining Hillenby, Erin was a senior account executive at DBC PR+New Media, a boutique public relations firm in Washington’s Georgetown neighborhood. There she provided media outreach, event planning, strategic writing and detail-oriented implementation with premier brands such as Ace Hardware, Jim Beam and Mars Drinks.
